Carmen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Carmen is an evidence based, holistic practitioner who focuses on healing the whole person with an individualized approaches that range from traditional to more modern methods.
Carmen provides telehealth therapy to adults
who reside in the state of Iowa. Carmen is a
Northwestern University graduate. She provides
therapy through the use of various therapeutic
modalities including but not limited to Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Carmen comes from a person centered approach and is trauma focused. Carmen has extensive training to help those who have experienced trauma.

Carmen enjoys working with adults. She has a special interest in working with college aged individuals. She is skilled in helping manage ADHD symptoms, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD just to name a few. Carmen has an interest in working with individuals living with chronic illness and pain.
